Joanne has appeared in numerous arbitration hearings and court proceedings (including at trial and appellate courts) and before the Alberta Securities Commission. She sees real value, and has demonstrated experience, in running efficient and fair proceedings.
She is an active member of the arbitration community. Among other things, she has been admitted as a Fellow to the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, has served as a two term executive member to the Young Canadian Arbitration Practitioners and co-chaired the ICC Canada national conferences on international arbitration for 2019 and 2020. In addition, she has co-authored book chapters in The Leading Practitioners’ Guide to International Oil & Gas Arbitration and Arbitration World.
