YOUR PROCEEDINGS CAN PROCEED
DESPITE COVID-19 RISKS
Arbitration Place Virtual
We provide a range of virtual and hybrid solutions that enable dispute-resolution proceedings to safely and efficiently continue during the pandemic crisis.
Arbitration Place Virtual (APV) is a secure eHearing service that includes everything you’d expect from traditional on-site proceedings, including live document display and sharing for all participants, real-time transcription, and breakout rooms for private deliberations. We provide full technical support – coordinated by Virtual Case Managers who are equally knowledgeable of the technologies employed and the legalities of virtual proceedings – and can host individuals at our downtown Ottawa and Toronto facilities, which adhere to stringent social distancing and cleaning protocols.
APV includes access to our roster of world-class arbitrators and in-house counsel, live document sharing, transcription and translation services, secure breakout rooms for private deliberations, and more.
Introducing Global Hybrid Hearings
We recently launched the International Arbitration Centre Alliance (IACA) with the International Dispute Resolution Centre (IDRC) and Maxwell Chambers, two other leading arbitration centres based in London and Singapore.
Through IACA, we offer all the advantages of Arbitration Place Virtual, delivered through a global alliance of advanced facilities and virtual resources with comprehensive local support.

We have combined all the resources needed to make your next arbitration or other out-of-court proceeding run smoothly in one seamless operation.
We have an industry-leading court reporting company, A.S.A.P. Reporting Services, housed on-site, offering real-time transcription, simultaneous interpretation, and videoconferencing.
At Arbitration Place, no request is too large and no detail is too small. Members of our team will arrange for couriers, try to find you event tickets, recommend restaurants and make your dinner reservations.
Leave nothing to chance: we handle everything, leaving you free to focus on your case.
Our wide selection of rooms can be reconfigured on a moment's notice to accommodate any size group.
Ample space to store boxes and briefs is just the start: we take your comfort to the next level with ergonomic Herman Miller chairs and broad-spectrum lighting.
In both Toronto and Ottawa, our location is unparalleled. Both facilities are housed in LEED Gold certified buildings, and surrounded by world-class restaurants, hotels and shopping.

We understand: food is important.
Arbitration Place has a fully equipped commercial kitchen and a staff chef. When you book with us, breakfast, lunch and snacks are all included in our service. That means you can expect home-baked muffins, fresh fruit and good coffee in the morning.
Lunch? How about roast beef with caramelized-onion horseradish or smoked salmon and goat cheese with lemon caper aioli sandwiches? Our staff takes special requests, and can arrange for outside catering from a wide variety of fine restaurants near our facilities in Toronto and Ottawa.
Attention to detail and the most friendly reception. The facilities are modern and elegant. The support given by the staff was very efficient.
The real-time court reporting produced good quality drafts and final transcripts and I liked being greeted with an espresso cup when I first arrived! In other words, I am looking forward to my next hearing at Arbitration Place.
