Robin Dodokin has over 28 years of dispute resolution experience as an experienced commercial litigator and insolvency lawyer. She was admitted as a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has been designated as a Qualified Arbitrator and Mediator by the ADR Institute of Canada. In 2017, Robin founded the law firm Dodokin Law & Conflict Resolution, offering legal services and conflict resolution services including mediation and arbitration. Prior to that she was a partner at a mid-size Toronto law firm. Robin has been appointed to arbitrate commercial, contractual and shareholder disputes and her expertise encompasses commercial, contract, business, insolvency, real estate, and family business disputes. Robin also has expertise in relationship preservation and dispute avoidance work through facilitation, mediation, and conflict coaching. For several years Robin has embraced and developed her virtual conflict resolution business. Robin is also a co-editor of ‘Arbitration and Business Cases,’ which summarizes of important arbitration and business cases.

Her clients include financial institutions, court appointed officers, companies, shareholders, and business partners. Her expertise encompasses commercial, business, insolvency, real estate, estate, and family business disputes. Robin is currently a director of the Canadian Chapter of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the CIArb Newsletter Co- Editor and Co-Chair of the CIArb Toronto Chapter and a member of the following: ADR Institute of Canada, Toronto Commercial Arbitration Society and The Advocates’ Society. Robin was a volunteer arbitrator for the Vis Moot in 2022.

Robin has previously been the Past Chair of the Ontario Bar Association (OBA) -Insolvency Law Section Executive and current member ADR Law Section Executive as well as a former member of the Toronto Commercial Court Users Committee.
